Controlled opposition. You are 100% correct. I still like a few of the people still there, but I've found myself turning to OAN a bunch lately. I never thought this would happen, but it makes perfect sense since Fox is owned by one of the 5 companies that control 95% of major media.
They do risk losing their audience, with alternatives like OAN now gaining steam, and if they keep compromised/owned hacks like Chris Wallace in major roles peddling known false BS, they will be competing for the dregs of the indoctrinated with CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the MSM. They need to be careful or they will lose this valuable channel they have right now to get to a large segment of the population.

Not defending FoX but it's typical click baiting viewers. Part of the same class that studied this technique from newspapers. Holding audience over. Birds of the same feather in media always flock together.
