no, using similies and analogy implies a) the person youre using them on understands them in the first place and b) doesnt spent their entire life relying on misdirection.

you start using analogies about something in the middle of a conversation about... say.... whether the chicken or the egg came first, their first response will be a misdirection using the chicken or egg, and referring to something that has fucking nothing what so ever to do with your conversation, or a really fucking bad intentional re-interpretation of your words playing the retard, and taking your words literally pretending not to even know what analogy is.

no, only way to deal iwth them is tell them, then when they argue, fucking walk away.

read up on pilpul

i came to the conclusion this morning driving home from work, that shit is now taught openly in universities. pretty much any fucking shit you can think of that involves somehting other than mainstream science in university, relies on pilpul. Imply something is settled science, rely on the masses being really retarded or not care. If someone calls you out, start calling them things like 'anti-semite' or 'racist' for 'minimizing' the scientific achievements of said group that 'proved' the debunked fact, then if that doesnt work start calling your boss and making false complaints of racism etc so you lose your job, then if you actually manage to fuck them up that completely in public theyve got no response, the next day, they will start again with the same utterly retarded facts, from the beginning, and pretend that they werent even there when you were talking about this stuff the other day and everyone is lying

Jesus used parables, or figurative stories to teach people to understand complicated concepts. He used the common language to do it. Parables are also likened to simile. It does work.
