I used to try to avoid anime cause I didn't want to be associated with it and did think it was kinda odd/weird. Still grew up on pokemon and dbz so I was conflicted
now because of my friends I am getting dangerously close to weeb trash bin status
Though really, I've gotten some great stories and characters from Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and others. And it doesn't mean I'm going to start watching shit just because its anime. What, you think I'd watch boku no pico or some shit? Why would I ever I ever subject myself to that level of mental trama...

Vegetables. I love eating greens now compared to when I was a kid. The more mixed with other vegetables, the more I would like it. I don't know why though.

I was the same way, the funny thing is though that I still do not like to eat any of the fruits and vegetables I was forced to eat as a kid. The standard "You're not leaving the table until you eat that" stuff in my family was corn (canned, creamed or on the cob), peas, lettuce, cantaloupe, broccoli and cauliflower. I eat none of these unless I absolutely have to. I'm just so absolutely conditioned to hate them I guess.
But now I love spinach, cucumber, eggplant, asparagus, peppers, mushrooms, squashes, and exotic vegetables too - I guess because I waited till I was an adult to have them.

Can't find the article(s) that I've read regarding change of taste while ageing, but found this. According to it, it's because of supertasters and synesthetes affecting sweet and bitter food by amplifying it, making children to like the former and dislike the latter. Not certain if it's true as I haven't checked its sources.

Same here. It's weird because now I'll even crave vegetables. If there aren't enough on my plate I'll want a side salad.

Modern things, broadly. Things like having a smart phone, having all the apps other people do, social media, even something as basic as using air conditioning. I couldn't shun everything but I shunned as much as I could. But it's so much easier to give in.

Running. I thought it sucked when I was a (skinny) teenager. Now I am overweight and trying to lose it, running is amazing not only for losing weight but I feel happier and more relaxed afterwards.

Funny I'm the opposite, I used to love running but got into cross training and found that running long distances bored me out of my mind. I'll still do the occasional long run just to stay fit aerobically but it's not the high point of my week anymore.

naps are great but they got me in trouble. Friday evening, i come home from work and think, ok i can nap for 30 min until i have go get back out with friends. 2 hours later i got a phonecall, from my friends: "Where the hell are you?" ... over napped. >_<
