i sliced them real thin
onions
cooked ground beef
cheese
and mushroom soup
just layer it
bake for an hour at 400
we got the recipe off v/traditionalwives lol

I've done the same except with ham and a little bacon as variation, adding in a little garlic and paprika because I like those.
Thought it was that recipie, it's damn good when the weather turns cold

True. On first glance I thought they were raw. Raw onions are nasty. They need to be cooked to bring out the flavour due to the acid or whatever in raw onions. Sorry, I spoke in haste. French Onion Soup is the best flavour, period.
