"We could just watch the movie." It's a valid option.

There, she's got it. Let your joy be watching her see it for the first time and see what she has to say. She deserves her time in the spotlight too.

It's good to see you finally starting to approach retirement sensibly. I know it's hard to put the racehorse out to pasture, but remember they usually use them for stud service in their later years :).

Isn't it all going to plan? You've taken the training wheels off but still there to support a little more. Before too long they'll be riding on down the road and you can watch with pride as the do.

It's very much going according to plan. I'll participate even less next year. Then, I'm fucking done. No more. My straps are getting hung up and I'm never performing again.

I might even stop recording.

Nobody believes a word of that, either. But, that's what I keep telling myself. I'm already thinking about compromising and only performing when both myself and the audience are mostly seated. But, I'm telling myself that I'm never performing again.

I am pretty adept, but I'm not sure I'll get much joy watching someone watch a movie. I could just watch it with her, but that'd make sense and be logical - and mundane.

Well, the movie is about tearing down some walls, now isn't it? You're fortunate to have such an adorable partner to share that experience with. Most of us haven't earned that pleasure.

And, as you said the other day, I noticed you avoided answering a question. (Nobody gets out alive).
