Well, all Trump said was they couldn't climb over them. We really should've gone with steel reinforced concrete and auto turrets.

I wonder what it was that made the Berlin wall so effective?

We all know this is what's necessary but the bleeding hearts won't even give us a damn wall. So, now we have to take one baby step at a time until we actually have something useful. It's like behavioral conditioning for a pidgeon.

Washington Post writers will always look at the negative. The new wall must be vastly superior. Impediments to smugglers is always a good thing. It’s like an arms race.

“There’s no one silver bullet, and we’ve done our best to try to explain that,”

Yeah there is, it's called a Free Fire Zone and after 4-5 bodies stack up in one area the people about to cross will think twice about it.

Hell, people pay $2,000 to helicopter hog hunt and you have to be put on a waiting list. A package like this will sell even better.

When fitted with specialized blades, the saws can slice through one of the barrier’s steel-and-concrete bollards in a matter of minutes

How many minutes? Big difference between 2 minutes and 20 minutes. How many pieces do you have to cut to be able to walk fat mexican women through? Wall slows invaders so border officers can do their job, not stops them cold.

This is the biggest part of the article. Saying "minutes" just means it takes over 120 seconds. As someone that works in the construction industry, it takes more than what common vernacular refers to as "minutes" to cut out portions of the wall. Especially if you are limited to 40v batteries, and even more so if you are limited to the 18-24v batteries that the article eludes to when stating "common household" reciprocating saw.

Admittedly I have not seen the border fence in person, but in photographs the "feet" going into the ground appear to be at least 4x4 in size. So although "minutes" is factual, it's not like someone is getting through it in 5 minutes on battery powered, 'household' tools.
