Eh. I wouldn't complain but I probably wouldn't have bought that costume for my daughters either. I wouldn't want them thinking about marriage as a trivial, unearned thing that kids can play at for a night or two before moving on to more interesting games. Instead, I'd try to preserve wedding dresses as a symbol of commitment, delayed gratification, maturity, responsibility and the honor that goes with those character qualities.

The protest against the costume was to bring to light the child bride problem with muslims, especially because of the rise of migrants there.
