How many. I have 3 if I include the several on my eyebrows as one.

Biggest and oldest one: I used to BMX race as a child. I was practicing with my brother doing sprints in a friends neighborhood. His friend was the fastest kid we knew. Him and my brother were nationally ranked 3 and 5 respectively in their age group. Amazing racers. His friend, let's call him James, used to do this thing where every time he pedalled he moved the bike with the pedal motions....not sure how to describe it. My father always told me not to do that, that it may look cool, but it could be dangerous. So I go up to do my sprint. James is the one timing me. I wanted to look cool. He was kind of cute and I wanted to impress him. To do this I tried to mimic the way he rode his bike......well I came out going faster than ever. I was so excited. Then, I hit a peice of loose asphalt and flew off of my bike.....I had road rash all the way from mid thigh to my waist. I was about 9 years old then. Now, I'm 22. The area where I slid across the asphalt is still pink.

Eyebrow ones are from fainting. I have Vaso Vagal Syncope responses with seizure activity. My brow area has quite a few scars from falling.

The other is on my foot. When I was little I was outside alone in the yard. We had sand all in the driveway. I thought it would feel really cool to run barefoot through the sand. There was a piece of glass. I slashed my foot on it pretty badly. It's hard to explain.....but where I cut my foot I have a huge gouge that looks to be an extremely thick line, like the ones already on your feet. Super weird.

Do I like them? The foot one kind of. Idk why. It just kind of looks cool. The others? Absolutely no way. Idk the BMX one is just really embarrassing.

I have 4 main scars.

1.) Sliced the tip of my finger almost off playing with my butterfly knives, had my 6th grade science teacher stitch it back up, ironically she was the nurse on duty.

2.) Drunkenly sailor dove into a pool that I probably shouldn't have been diving into. Broke my nose, split the bridge of my nose open, and bled everywhere.

3.) Scar on my hand, the eraser game.

4.) slid the back of my bike out on some gravel and shredded the skin on my left arm. It's not really a scar per se but the hair doesn't grow anymore and it stays pale when I tan.

I enjoy all my scars, they remind me of my past.

5 scars on my face. I could have been an extra on Braveheart.

Oh boy, here we go.

How many: I lost count a long time ago.
How did you get them: Scoliosis surgery, getting stuck in a net and falling, trying to learn to skateboard, opening stone crab, self harm, the shell of a 9mm going down my shirt and getting stuck to my skin, walking through thorn bushes.
How big/where are they: I just took these photos, so some of them are hard to make out. This is from scoliosis surgery. The shiny area is from a bullet casing. Trying to learn to skateboard. Got stuck in a net and fucked up my shin. Walking through a thorn bush. Self harm. Self harm.Self harm. Self harm.etc...
Do I like them: I'm not embarrassed about them. I don't go around showing them all off or anything, but if someone asks it doesn't bother me. I don't hide them, they're just there.

I have a faint one between my eyebrows from when I was knocked unconscious by a swing in a park. When I was about 13, the city park in the little town where I grew up installed some new-fangled playground equipment, including this one really ill-advised swing that rotated around in a circle and lifted the riders through centrifugal force1. One day, as I was walking past the swing, someone on the other side swung one of the seats really hard, causing its counterpart to loop around and hit me in the face. The seats were these heavy hard-rubber things. I don't remember the actual hit, just getting up and noticing that one of the lenses on my glasses was filled with blood.

It's a vertical scar about 1/2 inch long. Not really visible any more due to frown lines, but I know it's there.

1 - yes I am aware this is not a real thing, but it's easier than saying "The reaction force to the centripetal force."

Here is but one - on the inside first knuckle of my right index finger.

I was playing Fruit Ninja IRL while in my pool. So the fruit was bobbing in the water and I pulled the knife through the water to cut the fruit. I do a couple swings and got it. My third swing, I guess I turned the knife a little too much and it spun out of my hand and fell into the pool. I was startled but ok. I reached into the water to grab the knife and as soon as my hand was submerged blood started rushing out. Like a scene from jaws. I freak out and look at my finger. Clean cut all the way to the bone. I had a flap of meat hanging off my hand.

So my brother and I rush to the bathroom but I pass out while running. When I came to I was in the bathroom with my hand wrapped in toilet paper and my brother said he was following me down the hallway and I just fell face first into the wall. He dragged me to the bathroom and wrapped my finger. To this day, almost 8 years later my parents still don't know the truth on why my finger is so fucked up.

Two really obvious ones. Motor cycle accident. I was going straight down a road and a guy turned in front of me. Left arm from the wrist 6" up my arm where they put the steel plate in to hold the bone together. Left leg from halfway down my thigh to 2' from my knee and then another 2" at 90° where the handbrake lever went through my leg.

Less obvious on my left foot on the inside and about 3 inches long. Hit myself with a tomahawk when I was chopping wood as a kid.

Lots you can hardly see anymore.

Scars are life's tattoo's. I love mine. Girls love them too. It shows you haven't lived your life wrapped in a bubble.
