HPV vaccine, Merck and Rick Perry's money
Don't know much about Perry, but I never forgot this (my daughter was a teenager at the time). I thought he was an investor in Merck (my mistake). Turns out they were an investor in him.

RINO Alert! Rick Perry No Different Than Dems on Illegal Immigration
https://fellowshipoftheminds.com/rino-alert-rick-perry-no-different-than-dems-on-illegal-immigration
Former Congressman Tom Tancredo sends us this warning about Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) who announced his 2012 POTUS candidacy on Saturday:
When I ran for president in 2008, I tried to pressure the Republican candidates to take a hard line against illegal immigration. For this, Perry called me a racist.
When he first took office as governor in 2001, Perry went to Mexico and bragged about his law that granted “the children of undocumented workers” special in-state tuition at Texas colleges, the first state in the nation to do so.

No career politician is clean. Term limits are needed for all positions. There's a fucking retarded spic bartender cunt in congress, the politician jobs clearly do not require any actual experience or expertise.

Rick was my Governor, he was a Democrat long ago, switched to RINO/Repub when he realized Dems had a harder time getting elected down here. Became a drugstore cowboy, Rhinstone RINO maybe, we used to call him Governor Goodhair.
He was known to take an interest in bidness which touched him in some way. Wanted to force Mothers to impose vaccines on their kids which were questionable at best, tried to imminent domain lands for forced toll roads/rail lines, not an outright crook but a politician still.
And maybe a crook.
He was a fair governor here tho because Texas doesn't let governors have much to do with anything. Heck, we only let our State Legislature meet every two years for a couple months, and as long as you don't put it in the ditch it's hard to mess up being governor.
You wouldn't mind having a beer with him but probably wouldn't want to be his neighbor.

Yep, weak ass guy. Remember what he tried to do with the highway system while governor? And he wanted to sell out tolls to another country. Shit I even voted for Kinky Friedman because he would've been way better than Oops Goodhair.
[–] OsoCovfefe ago
HAHA!! I voted for Kinky as well, mainly because I smoked with him in Willie Nelson's bus.
Why is he stepping down? He's a crook and he stains the prez. So many betraywd him.

Yeah, at times I like Rick...shooting that coyote was good, talk of secession was good...he kinda went where Texas wanted him to go.
But a politician, phony, tried borrowing a lot of gravitas by association with the people exuding it.

Ok thanks. I guess I'm glad he's resigning and if he has corrupt deals with Ukraine, I hope its exposed and he does jail time.
[–] OsoCovfefe ago
I don't think he's dirty, he's just a politician, maybe more of a Good Ole Boy Wannabe.

He's got some Ukraine dealings that will be exposed.
