Oh hey, look at that. I said earlier that efforts to stop this didn’t do a damn thing, and lo and behold here they are not doing a damn thing.

So after parents lose a child to suicide the state will also fine them $2,000. Go fuck yourself, Oregon.

Article starts off: "Carol Manstrom says she lost her 18-year-old son when he grabbed his father’s unsecured pistol and shot himself. "

Good. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. Cunt. Too bad he didn't take her dumbass out while he was at it.

arol Manstrom says she lost her 18-year-old son when he grabbed his father’s unsecured pistol and shot himself. Paul Kemp lost his brother-in-law when a man opened fire with a stolen AR-15 assault-style rifle at a shopping mall.

Opens with an appeal to emotion. You don't want 18 year olds to commit suicide, or be killed by "youths" on a rampage do you? Good, now that that's out of the way, let me tell you how we can prevent it...

There were some vocal opponents.

“I want to be able to defend myself and family without asking the perpetrator to stop until I unlock my gun,” Jeffrey Slaughter, of Woodburn, told lawmakers. Others spoke of infringement on gun rights.

At the end of the article where no one will read it. We wouldn't want anyone to think there could possibly be a reason that this law is retarded.
