Definitely the rabbit-sized horses. They could definitely hurt me, but if I can choose how to battle them and what my weapon will be, it will be a battle of love, and my weapons will be lots of hugs and petting.
On the other hand, a horse-sized rabbit is less likely to engage me, but more likely to be effective in actually hurting me. If I climb a tree, minihorses will have to give up.

Got to be 100 rabbit sized horses in battle.

Easy to defeat. Their legs would be like twigs. Amazing animals but scale down the proportions and a horse would be pretty fragile. Also tails are longer so easier to grab a few and sling them away.

Which would you battle, not use on your side in battle. If it was trained an I could ride it would agree but to fight it... Probably not.
Like all animals, the rabbit must have an instinct to survive and not necessarily kill. I would try to not let it kill me by outsmarting it. The one thing humans have over a powerful animal is a brain that constantly adapts to different situations. Not knowing where I would meet the beast is a concern, but If I am able to survive long enough, I would build a cage and put food in it. When the time is right close the cage and let the softening begin. Food , water and shelter. In most cases food will be the way to tame a wild animal.

Absolutely the horses. A single horse-sized rabbit may not be entirely dangerous, but fighting an animal that big could result in a painful if not deadly bite. There may be a lot of tiny horses to fight, but even if they bite the bites are small and I can easily take them out by kicking them.
