It doesn't add up to your own personal virtue either.

No one even remembers Gen X...
No one cares. I am also a vet and went to RN nursing school, and I'm the fucking DON. I'm who they pay to check behind you and 50 other people. No one cares about that either.
If you need validation from others to convince yourself you did good; you done fucked up.

The generation that used to proclaim “Don’t trust anyone over 30” cries foul when the younger generations follow said axiom.
Quelle surprise

Only Gen Z matters. Young people know everything.

The mark of a generation is the generation they raised. “The greatest generation” were the parents of the Great Depression that raised our fighting force for WWII (heroism is heroism, regardless of which side we fought for). So the actual metric for the success of boomers are their children, you know, the ones you just insulted. You created that which you constantly insult. Fuck you for not accepting responsibility for your actions and bragging about yourself on the internet.
TL;DR Generations are a mirror to those that raised them, your generation created the millennial scourge you love to bitch about.

And I’m not anything like the stereotypical millennial. Your point? We’re talking about generations, not individuals (as per your OP, btw...) The point still stands.
