New patient appointments are much more expensive so if they have a coinsurance instead of a copay (and aren't on gubmit healthcare like Medicaid...), they are going to regret this.

Easy to imagine how pleased the doc will be by your walkout. He/she is rid of the worst kind of patient - those unwilling to even attempt to help themselves.
