Easy to imagine how pleased the doc will be by your walkout. He/she is rid of the worst kind of patient - those unwilling to even attempt to help themselves.

Nevermind that sudden drop or rise in body weight with an unchanged diet is a medical symptom of quite a few things.
People think they're healthy because being fat isn't directly painful. Yes, it can hurt to walk and what not, but the fat itself doesn't ache.
People will believe they're fine as long as they can get into a comfortable position and not experience pain. Then once something goes wrong, the idea is that it's the Dr's job to fix it, preventative lifestyle isn't at all taken seriously.

At a mechanic’s appointment I stated I did not want the hood opened and was ackshyually told that if they didn’t open the hood then they can’t see my car in the future. Don’t threaten me, you can be replaced Mr. ASE-Certified Hat
