This, son, is where meat comes from. It ain't pretty to look at, but it sure does taste good. Any picture of a slaughterhouse would look just as ugly, but that doesn't mean I'm giving up on steak anytime soon. These whales are sustainably harvested for their meat, and there is nothing wrong with that. If you want to bitch about environmental damage, bitch about coal burning power plants or something, which is actually doing harm.
Well, okay I found myself judging too quickly. I failed to notice that these pilot whales were not really in the threatened category. Just the association of 'whales' led me to think in terms of people culling a near extinct species.
We didn't find a twin earth, just a planet which recieves about the same energy from it's sun. It's not known what it's made of or of live there is possible. And besidie that, it's 1.4k light years away.
