One of the reasons I walk around wearing "Meninist" branded clothing is to demonstrate that people with my sociopolitical views are nothing to fear. I'm polite, I hold open doors for people, I tip restaurant waitstaff generously. I'm made of bones, flesh, and blood like everyone else, not a mixture of noxious gases sealed up inside a person suit.
Here's something these disturbed individuals can try: Instead of being upset as a result of what they thought that shirt-wearer was capable of, they could consider that he didn't end up doing any of those things. And maybe they should reevaluate their presuppositions about such shirt wearers more than he needs to reevaluate his choice of clothing given how others may erroneously react to it.

Why does she feel the need to identify the race of the cashier?

Operation Trader Joe's will no commence.
Just walk into a Trader Joes wearing a MAGA hat and buy a single item that costs $1.76 (1776) or less and film the reactions of the people around. Don't even engage, just be present and let the mental imbalances all around you work their magic. I'm half tempted to try this out myself.
