Why would "divers" on a commercial diving boat all die when they are supposedly skilled at swimming?

One of the news outlets KTLA I think claimed that there was only one way to get down below and they figured that the fire was so intense and blocked the exit which is also where they stored all their gear supposedly. They figure they would have passed out from smoke inhalation very quickly.

exactly this. When i heard they were all asleep and there was only one stairway out, i knew exactly what happened. The fire was intentionally set at the stairs. Even had they been able to run through it, I'm sure the door was barricaded shut. Like the others - who was on that boat!

Well, Jacque, apparently diving skills aren't very effective when you're asleep and trapped inside a burning boat below deck at 3:00am? What were they supposed to do? Hold their breath until the fire was out? Skillfully swim through the fire? Quick, decode Trumps sneaky tweets to get to find out what really happened.

Some of you clowns are no brighter than the dupes on the left.

Space for 30 but only one exit ? Not up to code. Think again, shill.

I took a look at the boat on the old news article about it's theft someone posted in a comment. There's just no way this was an accident. Something catastrophic had to happen on the lower level. This doesn't make sense for it to be an accident. I'm suspicious as fuck.
