Expanding the definition of slander/libel to include unjust defamation of a group of people would help. For example, the rhetoric common to the 6 media corps causes real harm to the property (safety, employability, stable prices of goods and services, ...) of white people.

Take everything they have earned from it, give it to the people who were defamed (if only a class action didn't go straight to lawyers).

The use of the word "platforms" suggests that, although the US did not commit to this provision on the government level, social media platforms have committed on the private level.
