College for 2 years then dropped out, worked in a sweat shop for 2 years then decided to go back to school, changed majors and moved cross country by myself to go to another school for almost a year now.

All the high school girls I could. Well for like 2 years after, now I don't wanna be near any of them cause they're annoying as fuck.

Went to a moderately large ag/tech state university. Got out, worked 3 years in a well paying job I hated to pay off my student loans from undergrad (only $7000 - I graduated in 1991) and pay for a reliable vehicle. Then went to medical school at a similarly inexpensive state university.

Went to a large research university, studied and networked so I would have career options after graduation, got my bachelor's double majoring in finance and accounting, accepted an offer for way more than I would have thought I'd be making right out of college, and now have been promoted and make even more.
It really does pay off to work hard and sharpen your social and interpersonal skills so you can network effectively.

Hey Voat, I wasn't the greatest of students in high school, so my odds of being accepted to a college were slim to none after graduation. I worked a few jobs in food service to keep money in my pocket, but eventually decided to join the military because I really had no other viable options. Long story short, I'm still in over a decade later and don't regret the decision at all.
