Went to a University. Don't wanna say where, but it was one of those places where if you don't get straight A's you shouldn't bother applying. I got in by playing it smart in highschool by taking all the easy classes like Literature, even though I hate reading boring fiction written by dead white British guys.
University sucked; but I don't really like school stuff like reading books, writing essays or memorizing useless shit I never used again after taking the final exam.
I'm going to a trade school.
We'll see how it goes.
I didn't actually complete high school. It was such a shitshow for me, having to interact with hundreds of people I don't get to choose every day, proving myself in "core classes" that I could have passed the final in before I even started, being dragged along by the slowest moron in the class. I don't worry about that though, I'll find my high point in life and hopefully it'll either be this trade school or when I get out and get a job and place to live under my own rules and how I want to.
Finished high school in 2010. Still going to a nearby community college for mechanical/ manufacturing engineering. Drop-failed out on two separate semesters. Built a 3d printer. have a job at a small time family owned business as an assembly line worker but my boss has had me design a few parts for him on Solidworks and Autocad. Recently hired as a 3D printing consultant (independent contractor) and use my printer to make prototype parts for another company. Printer close to paying for itself. Feel like inadequate garbage going to a community college fresh out of high school (for 5 years now that is) instead of a 4 year. Turn 23 in 4 months. Hope to transfer to a UC or CSU in roughly a year.

I've been back and forth from school to work refusing to go into debt. If you can figure out what you want to do, talk to people who work in that field. They will tell you want that job will really be like and what you need to know to do it. Try to stay out of debt unless you really have to. College does not guarantee a job.

Fucking nothing after trying to do community college for a brief period. Seriously just goofed off and enjoyed myself for around 5 years, soaked in all my friends going to college and spent most of my free time with hobbies.
Thankfully I'm able to make a full living with my hobbies and I've really achieved much more than I ever thought I would. Esp never graduating from high school.
I also saved a bunch not having to get student loans!
