Feminism has little to do with homosexuality. If anything, two homosexual men would still have two votes under the previous system, potentially giving them a bigger voice. There is evidence to suggest that homosexual men have more influence than homosexual women (the stereotype of the rich DINK gay couple), which means there's little influence from feminism.

I disagree on psychological grounds. Men and women are very different mentally and emotionally, we know this here. When women gained the vote, they tended to vote their biology, for gentle, inclusive policy's. Of course this didn't happen over night, but can you imagine ever passing a gay-anything-act under a system with only male voters?

I can. While I find homosexuality repulsive, so is government interference. There are things I wish to do that the government has no business interfering with and I cannot in good conscious tell the government to stay the fuck out of my business while also shoving its nose in other peoples' bedrooms.
