They ruin any outfit. Cosplay, goth, raver, hippy, pixie, regular human. A friend once commented that thin pixies have big wings whereas fat pixies have small ones.

As an avid costumer, I word hard to keep in good shape for my costumes. The end result is that I look good and can still wear parts of costumes that I made in High School.
Meanwhile, I hear from the regional fatties "I need to make a new vest because I washed it and it shrunk." Pleather doesn't shrink, fucknut, you just got bigger.
I remember my first con in 2009. Dayum. So many hotties. The odd fattie was a footnote and they were mercifully wrapped up so no one had to stare at any hamflesh. I watched the 2 hour cosplay competition and one of the first ones was an enormous female dressed as Neji. During posing for photos... Dead silence. Hundreds of people, some of them minimoons and butter golems themselves, but everyone knew this was a travesty. Now people are fucking celebrating this shit. I went to a nerd bar the other night where people regularly cosplay and it was a travesty, even most of the hotties were starting to pack on a pound here and there. Fucking sedentary lifestyles Doritos and mountain dew.

I went to a con recently and the had a workshop on "Gender, Race, and Body Politics" in cosplay. Needless to say, I didn't attend because it disturbs me when fatties try to tie their self-glorification campaign to issues racial and gender equality.
