Good idea. But mention name of the maker and the date. Don't forget 17th century painters like Jan Steen and so on.

The only thought I had when I opened this was “One day”.

Beautiful.

OP, if you like that one be sure to look at the works of John Singer Sargent.

Here's one: https://www.tate.org.uk/art/images/work/N/N01/N01615_10.jpg

The local MFA had an exhibition of his and online pics just do not do justice to them. (or any painting for that matter)

The master works have great depth and look so real in person but lifeless as an image pic.

Ignore the jerks and their sarcasm. Your Day 1 post was fantastic. I've never heard of that artist or seen that painting, and it made me happy to see it. Keep it up. The encouraging posts all have good suggestions, particularly that of including the name of the artist, the painting, and the year it was painted.

We need record keepers too. Editors, Curators and presentors. The userbase changes fast on voat but the shills stay and feed on newb's ignorance

Do it! Maybe you could use v/WhiteBeauty to post them if the folks there are okay with it.

Came here to say exactly this.

I've posted art in the sub before, it was pretty well-received. Just don't post anything with nudity in it, even tasteful art; they seem to really hate anything of that nature there.

I think they're focused on aesthetic beauty. Anyone with a butt can be sexually attractive, that's not necessarily unique to white people, it's the colors and the facial structure that make white beauty uniquely white.
