Don't think of them so much as red pills as red seeds. It takes a while for people to come around to completely oppositional ideas to what they have been taught. So you plant the seed so that they can see it going forward & convince themselves. Because the self is the only person who can convince them of anything.

lol

She spoke to her mom and asked if she could try again next summer.

Yeah no I don't think so.

My niece boarded the plane home early and decided to continue her sugar detox and fitness routine that she was immersed in while staying with us.

Yeah I'm gonna give that a nope as well.

I'm not convinced this isn't just a LARP because it sure reads like it, but in case any of this is real.. You cannot treat another human being like that and expect them to see your point of view!!! Jesus..

I'll also point fingers at the rest of you that encouraged this. Seriously do you all have so poor social skills that you didn't see the eminent failure in this? Who among you have ever grown fond of something you were forced by someone else to do? Is that what you think inspiration is?

You talk like someone who is not / never has been a parent. How do you walk away from your kids?

Some of my best redpilling efforts have occurred over a few drinks. Maybe when your niece is older you can mix her a few, and once the facade is lowered, you may find that the seeds you planted have grown into something.

I have made the same mistakes.. My family all think I'm nuts but the best I can do is just live as simply as possible and surround myself with like minded people. It is hard not to fall into the stereotypes of a "Nazi" (rigid, graceless, arrogant) when you want to help and correct everyone from the viewpoint where you're certain you're right, I do it all the time but I still have a lot to learn myself and humility is probably the most important virtue to obtain, otherwise you are no better than a bible thumper

I'm betting you felt compelled to do as much as you could in a short period of time. As you said it normally takes years to fully embrace these ideas and it can be hard. It was and is an emotional roller coaster. If you broke even a little of the degenerate conditioning in her then you should feel accomplished.

"Wouldn't've" we speak the same Merican dialect!

Coming on intensely isn't a problem and you didn't fail here, you planted the seed, who it grows will depend on her and how strong the environment is she is going back into.

I'm sorry things didn't work out the way you would have hoped. Young Americans these days are so.... I don't want to say brainwashed, but it's the best way I can word it. You can't undo in a few weeks what has been programmed into them for years.

Even with my kids, I try to enforce critical thinking, I don't want them irrationally embedded with my biases without reason, but I want to be able to guide them to the same conclusions.

For example, when my son was 8, he asked me, "why is it always the black kids who are acting up in class?"

But yeah, as far as traditional marriage, my wife isn't even a trad wife, so how can I sway them that way?
