Nope. I will pay for my kid to learn a trade, I mean I will pay 100% for education and certification/testing to do the job. I will not pay for college. It was a waste of time for myself and did nothing to further my career. I learned nothing but the reasons why the new hires were shit compared to people my age.
If my kid wants to waste his time in college then that is their choice. They can pay for it. The only way I might pay for something at the university level is if my kids want to be a nurse or doctor. Outside of that, they can pay their own way.
College is the biggest scam of the age. Bigger than Sub Prime. It will be the next cause of a recession. All those black women took out loans they can never pay back.

My daughter has always been focused on learning and is very involved in environmental issues. My son on the other hand we have no clue what he is going to do with his life. Trade school would be great for him but he can't figure out what he wants to do.
It sounds like she already did very well and merits a little help to bridge the gap. I'd definitely help, unless the degree does not have excellent job prospects/pathway to a good career, and I'd hold off until they switched to an acceptable major.
I earned most of the money needed for college through scholarships and then my parents assisted me with the rest. I'm really grateful as I think being debt free will give me a leg up on the dating-for-marriage game.
Not to be creepy, but I hope your daughter knows the benefit of chastity and marriage. My honest experience at a top 30 college was that about half the girls are badly behaved but the other half are good girls because they know the importance of long term investments (contrary to the stereotype of college girls on voat). Since you're a goat, I'm guessing your daughter is in the latter.
Anyways. Congratulations to you and your daughter (: you must be very proud of her!

I did. It is important to start life debt free.
