Banning 75%+ of the population from a site just makes the site become irrelevant.

Reddit's ban-happy wierdo mods are the greatest gift to the right; they've pushed an entire generstion from apathy towards the left to outright hatred.

This will end very well. Not for them, of course, but it will end well. With rope and bonfires.

I will say this: If it wasn't for reddit banning communities, I would have never found voat. This site opened my eyes to many issues.

Oh jeez you mentioned AJones, prepare for an incoming flood of ‘controlled OP ! Shill ! Jonestein ! Tommy Robinson is Mossad !!’

Sorry to derail it’s just a vicious pattern I keep seeing here on Voat. As soon as anyone mentions the deplatforming of the humble water filter merchant then ‘le totally organic gang of woke internet dudez’ shows up and starts picking it apart from 3 different angles.

Yea, that's probably what I hate most about voat. I hate that it's common practice to anyone you disagree with a 'shill', rather than have a legitimate conversation.

I laughed out loud over the "humble water filter merchant" description.
