I gotta watch Brazil. People keep mentioning it. I saw Equilibrium, that was entertaining but didn't make me think.

Ghost in the Shell, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and maybe Blade Runner.

Seen them all.

As well as all five versions of Blade Runner that were included on the 5-disc Ultimate Collectors Edition?

IDK, SF has always been so hit and miss, mainly miss. Not to mention that many films with a SF setting -- for example set in the future or in some alternate reality -- are actually some other genre, such as horror.
If you watch a shit tonne of SF films then I can understand that you'd get the impression that the genre is dying. But there was a preponderance of crap SF in the 60s, 70, 80s...
If you haven't seen Ex Machina then be sure to put that on your list; it's great SF and great movie making. Otherwise here's a couple older films that are not great SF but just plain fun to watch: Ice Pirates and Flash Gordon.

Saw Ex Machina, I liked that one. Was a decent flick for sure. Have not seen Ice Pirates. Wrote that down. Have seen my main man Flash Gordon though.
