I say that because you can control what your own children are exposed to, but once they have contact with other children who do have access to all that they learn it anyway. You can keep them from having contact for a certain amount of time, but unless you are Amish chances are they will still be influenced by peers.

There are plenty of children that are not corrupted by exposure to other children, without resorting to becoming amish. You can minimize the possibility by choosing neighborhoods with higher levels of conservatives to start.

That is an ideal and a good thing to strive for, but people find themselves in all kinds of circumstances in life. Unexpected things like a dishonorable spouse or bad career choice or being born in a less than perfect situation. Shit happens, children make choices that we wouldn't want for them, and yet disowning them after the fact can't be the only solution, which is an answer I see suggested a lot. You still love your kids and continue to do everything you can to help them make better choices in life.
