I don't expect to hand it down tomy son when I die. I expect him to hand it down to his son when he dies.
Which is metaphorical, as my son already has one because his dad is awesome like that. He's been taking the youngest hoodlum shooting a lot, so I'm sure he's had it out. I don't actually pay attention to what he takes. He's an adult and he's known me his entire life. He knows damned well what he can take without asking.
The eldest hoodlum likes to rat him out. This amuses me. "He and [my brother] took three guns with them, can you believe that?"
The son isn't much better. "I saw [her name] driving your car downtown."
I know she must not have been speeding, 'cause he'd have told me.
Good. I want them to treat each other like family.
Also, I'm pretty high.

'Member when I used to brag about how my life was pretty much free of drama? I 'member.
I kinda miss it. I truly love the eldest hoodlum, and my son is alright, I guess...
But, man... Those two needle each other like siblings.
I wouldn't change it if I could, for the record. I'm just venting... Seriously, like siblings...
If I recall correctly, I told my son to treat the hoodlums like they're his real sibling.
This was a mistake. Learn from my mistakes.
