With all the printed pistol frames coming out lately, I didn't feel like spending >$300 on parts. FMDA has been pushing out various other models based on cheap parts kits, so I picked up a SD9VE parts kit from GunBroker instead. These frames require aluminum slide rails, so I milled them on my 3d printed CNC machine, the MPCNC.
I still need to figure out what I want to do with it as far as mags go. Eventually it will either be adapted to accept Sub-2000 style interchangeable mag catches, or I'll just replace the frame with a Glock mag version when it comes out.
