I often call people Sir. This list is mostly retarded.

In emails? My office is pretty informal, so I can't think of a time someone has said "sir" in a not-joking manner.

Kindly, query (not in the SQL sense) and needful seem pretty accurate to me. The others, not so much.

Maybe not so much email although I have done so. Im almost certain Ive used it here on Voat and definitely on other forums. A long time ago I decided to use it in place of Man or Dude. So I will use it in completely informal settings. Friend passes me a joint "Thank you sir"

I do have a rather odd speech pattern and vocabulary though. Most people dont really use 'rather' these day for example. Ive lived in the middle of America my whole life but Ive read a lot and plenty from other cultures and time periods. Resulting in an odd amalgam of speech.

Yeah, mostly talking about screening contractors in a business setting. Sorting through "Sir I'm a super legit programmer from USA please pay me $50/hr for some unusable code" cover letters and so on.
