I've bought and sold a fair bit over the years. My biggest purchases any more are used lenses, generally 10+ years old and retro games. Never had a problem really. I've also sold things including antiques internationally and some buyers can be cunts and foreign posts are a bitch but I've had good experiences on eBay. It's PayPal I fucking loath but it's hard to separate the two.

"He does returns" how sweet. Its ebay rule -- 30 days no happy, u can return.

I've bought lots of stuff I did not like when it came in -- just returned it --usually due to it not being as described. Once just a mistake even ordering (some car parts .. ordered for wrong car, D-Oh.).

I never spent $1600 on an item but the ebay rules are clear.

Now, do you have paypal (PP)????? I do not, if your have PP then it goes by PP rules -- which might be less forgiving...no idea about that PP, never wanted it, never had it, never needed it.

I got a good deal on TSC coal at end of last season .. got 2 tons. But it required me moving every bag.

When I buy tons from a coal retailer its delivered on pallets that are easy to move.

Still, to save $1 a bag, I'll move 'em.

TSC coal burned fine.

Just bought a $700 soil compactor. Free freight delivery.

  • First unit got returned: freight shipper dropped the pallet. Box was busted open, even pallet was broken. Got refund.

  • Second seller wanted extra for house delivery. Canceled. Got refund.

  • Third and final seller came through.

From what i understand, the buyer has all the protection. If something gowes wrong, you complain to ebay and get a refund, most of the time no questions asked.
There are enough ebay buyers that scam sellers like this.

Yes, its buyer friendly. I will not sell on ebay...its not seller friendly at all from what I have read online of sellers whining about ebay and PP.
