Ok, so then we create lame-duck senators serving for 6 years with zero need to actually represent their constituents. What could possibly go wrong?

As opposed to powerfully corrupt senators serving for centuries with zero need to actually represent their constituents.

serving for centuries

Hyperbole. Dumb.

zero need to represent

They face re-election. That’s the check on power. The individual terms of 6 years need to be shortened if there is a two term maximum.

We need that. I'm sick of the dipshits in my state getting re-elected with false promises by a certain small group of the population.

This is inconsequential. Even if it DID pass, you aren't voting your way out.

Congress level participation trophy.

It won't pass but you can say you tried.

DOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

I want term limits on fucking everything; From senators to the local county clerk. Hell, I'd go for term limits on cops were it not for the impossibility of getting replacement officers every several years.

It's hard for me to find any decent reason to not have term limits besides corruption.
