But we can't just use recipes we find in books or online, 'cause that would be "cultural appropriation" . So we gotta import 'em to cook it for us! (Why do I suspect that's an actual argument some dumbass somewhere used seriously? )

Got a god-damned hemorrhoid from that Chipotle norovirus outbreak, and I never even eat there.

Whats funny is that isn't even Mexican food. It's Tex Mex. We would have that because we have Texas. They can fuck off with that shit. The "Mexican" food most eat throughout the US is Tex Mex and not the cuisine you would find in Mexico. If you want that kind of food you have to go to the restaurant that doesn't speak English and you order by pointing or calling out a number in Spanish. Trust me, it isn't what you can get down at your local Taco Shop either.

Thank you.

Everyone forgets that this is the white man's twist on the Mexican food.

Not to mention that "wypipo food bland" [sic] because it has been filtered through years of corporate/government/health fads. Mexican food is fucking terrible for you, but it's given a pass for being "ethnic"

Absolutely savaged 'em.

They have been taught to 'goal seek'. That is, we will tell you what the answer is, for example, violent crime is due to the criminal being impoverished. And then they will work backwards from the SOLUTION to ask the question.

"Well, what if we gave them 'social security' and a 'good education'?"

All those points, religion, travelling, spot on. This is what people have to realize about Marxist 'deconstructionism'. You can't just criticize and destroy everything, you have to replace it with something. Example. Religion was criticized, discredited, subverted, infiltrated. Did we suddenly solve our problems? No. People became worshippers of science or total, utter consumerists. Or foodies, as in this example.

You sound like Mollie's Father: "The Hispanic community are Iowans. They have the same values as Iowans. As far as I'm concerned, they're Iowans with better food."

Could someone please point out to me what authentic ethnic food is even close to be remotely good for you.

Sushi maybe.

Tex mex. Indian food. Chinese food. All the western interpretations of those are over spiced heart attacks that originally were intended to cover up rancid meat in dishes.

But...But greasy diner food is bad for you! Eats a 50% rancid vegetable oil, 20% out of date beans, and 30% Mexican guano taco

Except whites are the ones that introduced spices to most of the world. Shit, the Aztecs didnt even make proper chocolate; they were more worried about drinking through their assholes apparently.

I want that exact same burrito. Hard to get an Americanized "Burrito Supreme" anymore because there are too many spics locally so the burritos are too "authentic," meaning they are wet sloppy messes of beans, rice, and meat, reeking of cilantro. But I like the ones that use spiced ground beef, shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and sometimes guacamole. Those actually taste good.
