No, but the dehydration makes it worse. If you slam a bunch of water before going to bed drunk, you will still have a hangover, but it won't be as bad.

No problem, its difficult to look into. Many companies don't want the info out. But if you look at whats happening in the body its all very clear. We learned this is school, and Dr. carl Hart has some great papers on this subject.

It's because magic hangover cure fairy dust is one of the ingredients in beer. I'd note there is even more such dust found in a typical bloody mary.
