Post flairs aren't arguments. They're judgments. They don't discredit anything.

Because flairing is such a harmless thing, I don't see this as a particular need personally. Then again, in theory you should be able to trust your own mod team to be honest, and in the example you cite the one doing the flairing stated that he was doing it.

With that said, though, if there were a mod team and someone were flairing posts inappropriately (contrary to the community- or mod-defined flairing procedure) then it would be nice for the Owner to be able to determine who was doing so so that they could be removed.
