George Sacher, decades ago, developed a formula, based on observations, that calculated how long any mammal could live. Key to the calculations were brain size, body temperature, weight, and a few other physical factors. The typical human that ate properly and didn't get any killer diseases could live to be 120 years old. An identical person with a slightly lower body temperature could live a few years longer. Recent work shows that if one starts on a lifelong low calorie diet of 1200 calories per day, you could live up to 150 years. That doesn't mean you won't hurt like hell should you get that old.
