Here's a different perspective, maybe:
The community makes the church.
Atheism has inspired the individual to take responsibility of themselves.
But as an individual this has fractured communities into identity politics.
I won't gripe the atheists for their want to not be a part of the shitty leadership of churches. I will credit atheists in their want to seek the truth and for the most part they've been doing it through a very rigorous scientific method!
But there are atheists in name only, who are only part of it because the smart people are there or the smart people see where church has failed them.
The objectivity of Atheism is good for science but in another sense it has also led us to the LGBT community and the rampant paedophilia in it which is far greater than that found in the church. The only difference is, as I say, the church leadership failed us.
I don't know, what's your further thoughts on my perspective?

Satanists control both atheism and the church.
Atheism is about saying fuck you dad and being ungrateful for the gift of life.
That's because jews always turn things into identity politics. jews are the leaders of satanism, in case you don't know that.
Both the curch and atheism are ran by the same faggot jews.
God is the truth. Atheism is a jew lie. Ok. Can't read more of that. Do some research if you are interested in the truth. You are currently no where.

Well, generally I've been a christian all my life, had a small stint of Agnosticism because of the actions of Westboro. My beef wasn't really with the church's moral stance but with how they executed it.
I have been long wondering the question of what's the point of church? It's the same stories repeated without any new message. How do they help me in my day to day life be successful? All they really preach is be charitable, the church doesn't teach how to make hard decisions.
And now because the church has been picking the low hanging moral fruit of love, peace, and charity, they've gone soft and can't make hard informed decisions like on personal limitations, responsibility, and accountability and how that rolls over into everyday life.
Just repetition of For The Glory of God and hopes that things will eventually get better. Sure that works when we're not at war but we are at war and the current spiritual warfare is happening in politics and we are severely losing because Atheism has removed the community spirit and the moral standards of the west, and buried them under individualism and materialism.
