No problem. Reach for the firearm and think of it as a do it yourself project.

The danger in this bill is the loss of anonymity to the caller if someone does determine their intent wasn't honest (how that's actually proven in all cases, I don't know. It seems like it leaves a lot of room for subjective reasoning in a situation where only a judge gets to decide). When the caller is taken to small claims court by the person they called on, as the bill allows, it becomes public record for a number of years. The bill doesn't specify if it just allow for one of the US' protected species to make the claim and it falls on the caller to prove their intent wasn't racially-motivated (which it wouldn't surprise me if that's exactly how it works, guilty until you prove yourself innocent) so how does this case in public records affect their reputation or safety in the face of some obviously emotionally charged bullshit? You can't tell me there won't be some nog lawyer digging up some of these records, and subtly encouraging "da communiteh" to fuck with the defendant and even their business, or know they're an easy target once you use that record to smear their reputation and then commit crimes against them assuming they'll be less inclined to call for help.

This bill gets life from a handful of allegedly racially-motivated cases across the entire United States, and they act like it's an epidemic. Go to any suburb and if you're not old, you get the cops called on you for existing outside in the neighbourhood. Where's my and plenty of other people's $250.00+? No one addresses how this problem grew from decades of the establishment discouraging people from taking responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their community. "That's what the police are for, silly goy!" And now that avenue for defense is being threatened.
