Use an add-on named Video Download Helper for Firefox (Use Waterfox instead).

When I went to the site, its for firefox and there isn't a download button, where it would normally be instead just tries to download firefox instead. Is there an alternate place to download other than the firefox ad on page? Or do I need to do it through firefox then somehow get it on my real browser?

This is the website that I sometimes use if I want to get a video from BitChute. https://www.tubeoffline.com/download-BitChute-videos.php
However, judging from their lack of funding, there's no telling if this service will stay alive for much longer.
I don't know much about torrenting either. However, there is supposed to be this thing like a checksum or hash or something, where you run an algorithm on the file you torrented, and it will give you a long string. The idea is that you can check this generated string against the string that a trusted source has. For an example of this, you can try torrenting an Ubuntu ISO. They should have a checksum so that you can verify that the file you torrented is the correct one.

That is the site I use, I did see a message on the site the other day about having to replace the server and not all the video sites would work, but bitchute was still one that did work. Glad I came here though, learned something new about the magnet links.

Don't use bitchute. It's another feckless advocate for WebRTC. They don't use real, safe torrents. They use a bitched-up abomination called "WebTorrents", that exposes you to WebRTC.
WebRTC is run by Google, Microsoft, and their ilk, to prevent privacy an anonymity. WebRtc exposes your desktop to other clients and servers, and it de-anonymize you even behind a proxy.
Again: Your proxy is useless if you use WebRtc, which is what WebTorrents are, which is what Bitchute is.

I've never tried it, but I've noticed there's a magnet link button in the rightmost portion of the bar directly below the video.
Alternatively, I've seen direct download links posted in the form of "https ://seed41.bitchute.com/JWa8508PdoWK/7xqSbHGgKM0e.mp4", which can be found if you open "View Page Source" and search for 'seed'.
