The people behind the French Revolution were pretty similar to the liberal fascists we see in the streets today, as well as those running the tech corporations, the banks, and the media. They were determined to destroy the existing social structure, and had no intention of allow the members of that social structure free expression, or even free breathing. They were intolerant and narrow-minded, while spouting nonsense about fairness and equality. They initiated a campaign of genocide against an entire social class, all in the interests of justice and universal brotherhood.
