Final Thoughts

(continued here for total post-word count)

Play with combinations of flavors, and different amounts of flavorings. You’d be surprised how different our juice would have turned out if we used 5% Ripe Banana and 2% Strawberry! Don’t feel like you’re wasting ingredients by trying off the wall things. Sometimes the results are very enjoyable!

There’s no one definitively correct way to do this. There’s so much room for customization and unique techniques that you shouldn’t limits yourself to one way of making juice!

Note that nicotine should be stored in cool, dry, dark places. The more times you open the jug, the quicker it will degrade and lose potency. You can freeze unopened PG-suspended nicotine and it’ll last forever. Flavors also have a shelf-life, so no need to go bonkers and buy gallons of Strawberry, it’ll probably “go bad” before you use it all up.

Cross-contamination is another point, never use the same needle for two different flavors - they will mix and you’ll be altering one or both of them forever. Keeping individual needle tips for each flavoring is one way, disposable pipettes that you can just toss after using once or twice is another way of keeping your flavors separate.

Instead of PG i use a couple drops of distilled water to thin a mix out enough for tanks. One of my favorite strawberry mixes, that i use in many recipes, looks like this:

  • 4% Strawberry Ripe (TFA) this is for the smell
  • 3% Sweet Strawberry (CAP) this enhances the flavor

As smell is a big part of taste this works out really well. I only use RDA's so my % may be a bit low for some. Here is an example of the mix used in a recipe:

Strawnana Custard V1

  • 10% Vanilla Custard (CAP)
  • 4% Strawberry (Ripe) (TFA)
  • 4% Banana Cream (LA)
  • 3% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)

I posted this in the Banana Cream (LA) colorless group buy several months ago. It requires a bit of curing time for some people, i like it fresh but that is because i like VC V1 (CAP) mixed fresh, many people dont. This recipe will run through a tank with no issues, later versions required a bit of distilled water.

Hope you dont mind me butting in, im a bit excited to be here as i have been searching for awhile.

Not at all, that's an excellent use of distilled water to keep PG as low as possible - and I for one welcome the input. Good recipe, as I switch between subtanks and drippers off and on, I like to keep my recipes a little bit on the "lighter side" of percentages as well. I think Capella's is a brand that doesn't get enough recognition lately - I've found a lot of their creams and vanillas are a step above most else out there.

Thank you, i definitely didnt want to intrude as i am new here. I love CAP flavorings, out of all the flavorings i have purchased from them only Grenadine (CAP) has sucked. I test all of my flavorings by putting one drop into a shot glass of water then swish and swirl it around my mouth. After doing so with Grenadine i ended up spending 20 minutes tongue scraping and then swishing Listerine around to get rid of the taste. And yet my nephew loves it..
