Gnosticism isnt really about morals though, at least the core part that says you can ascend this realm into Godhood through knowledge/learning isnt. Some branches then say there is Good and Evil path, Right Hand and Left Hand Path, service to others or service to the self, but each path is just as legit as the other and merely a matter of personal choice.
Then there is the Christian gnosticism which is mainly focused on the teachings of Jesus Christ, and unless completely subverted occupied with curating the good and love.

Where is the realization? There is none. This is just faith. Blind belief. An equivalent would be believing Middle Earth really literally exists somewhere. As for there being one God you imply to be the sum of logic, what proof is there that this non-personal God is connected with the Jesus figure at all? There is none, you mearly cleave to what is familiar. If you had been born Muslim you would say the same thing but replace Jesus Christ with Allah.
That said, you say some interesting things.

You got the relationship backwards with the dual serpents on the staff.
Jesus was an ultradispensationalist, and tossed out the Mosaic Laws, Talmud, and so on.
This issue was later pressed, and forced by Paul, who then went to ban even circumcision, and adopt Roman administrative practices. The former assured the split of Judaism and Christianity, the latter prevented retaliation from the Judaisers.
