The answer is simple. It's faster for Barr to declass -- but more importantly, he (his team) can review all of the docs -- and it reduces the chance that the FBI or other agencies try to withhold critical information. Barr will not tolerate the shenanigans that Wray has been pulling -- if he tries to withhold information Barr is requesting well then he'll be in the kill box.

I kinda like not having a clue as to timing anymore. That means neither do (((they))). They must be so confused, panicked, and definitely sleepless. I think everyone will be taken by total surprise when the big hammer drops. jmo

Well, releasing one FISA will tell all the DS players its all coming all now and shortly and its serious stuff. That will give the DS players an opportunity to scramble around and reveal more about themselves and each other pending the next damaging release. Sort of like being caught in mortar attack and not knowing when the next round is going to fall and burst on you.
