Yes .308 WIN, specifically, mostly reclaimed 7.62x51 NATO field brass.

I’m currently necking down a bunch of virgin Winchester .308 to .260 Remington which uses the same .264 diameter bullet as 6.5 CM but has a slightly larger case capacity. Two 50 gallon barrels would come close to lasting me a lifetime

There is nothing wrong with that.

I recently broke out my old analog and loaded a fair amount of compressed load 300 WinMag after confirming with 2 different digital scales the actual scale weight and recalibrating the difference

A minuscule (and I mean tiny) dash of Lemi-shine will make the batch gleam; a little too much, you get orange and/or antique looking brass, which could probably pass for steampunk
