Walking...the newest Olympic sport.
Especially popular is the untimed sprint between the office and the cafeteria.
I used to ride a bike a little more than two miles to and from work to save money by not having a car. The only time I hated it was when there was rain, or when an animal carcass was on my route.
My 250lbs boss and my 300lbs coworker at the time where both astounded by my ability to pedal to work and then put car rotors and batteries for a few hours.
I would hate to be that fat, hell, right now I’m skinny fat and I hate it. I’m amazed how people can hate themselves so much to stay that fat, it really must be a deep abyss of despair

You might need to verify this user broski. @Carsandsarcasm
Also previous comment broke a rule "she would be pretty if lighter..yada yada"

Fair call. There is no rule against being skinny fat as long as you are within the BMI range, but that last comment is a "she would be pretty if." We don't do that here, @H3r0n. It's sympathy because it validates them. Consider yourself on thin ice. You should be fine as long as you are not fat because you will be light enough not to break the thin ice. Read the rules. Next time you're banned.

Take a good mental image of how everyone looks, how fat they are now. I guarantee you in six to twelve months all the hams will be fifty pounds heavier. Even the people who are just a little pudgy will becomes whales. It’s shocking how quickly it happens.

Yeah a friend of ours got a "chubby" gf and moved out from home. Dude went from the lean side of normal to blob in the eight months they've been dating.

You should see the reactions I get when people learn I walk 5km twice a day to work! You would think I told them I can fly. The only thing that stops me from saying more people should do it is that I don't want the footpath clogged. Walking is a great way to get some fresh air, get your eyes away from screens, listen to some music, do some thinking, and get some activity all while saving fuel, avoiding traffic, and not worrying about parking.

I live a mile from work and walk almost daily. People are astounded that I walk the whole mile. Even had a conversation with a cow worker the other day. She was asking how many steps were recommended, and another cow worker said 10,000 per day. First one says, "And that's to lose how much weight?" I chortled and said, "None. That's how much you should walk because you can. It's not even a lot."
