This is because people allowed the government to decide that people are not smart enough to maintain their own vehicle. And then they don't even know how to put air in the tire.

If your kid is 18 years old, has their own car, and doesn't know how to put air in their tires or check the fluids, you failed as a parent.

I don't want to agree with the first paragraph but I definitely agree with the second.

Well truly, people are too retarded to maintain their vehicle, at least in the states. Source: mechanic

Ah, wait until you learn about cars that don’t have dip sticks to check the oil and you have to use the instrument cluster to wait for it to be low a quart.

There's ways to check the level just not with a dipstick. Usually a check plug with the engine running and the trans up to temp

I'm not cool with that. I'll be sure to look for that if I buy another car

funny. I owned a car once that had some 'personality.' it had no TPMS sensors in any of the wheels. But, occasionally, the low pressure light would come on. only way to turn it off, i thought, was to go to a tire shop.

nope. with the ignition on, turn on & off the parking lights 3x, and it'll turn that light off. i've done it while driving down the road. it only happened once every couple months tho, so not a major issue, once i knew it was part of that car's personality.

My dad told me that he found a random code on his key fob that remote started the car. That's a nice feature to accidentally find.

This isn't personality, it's indirect tpms lol. The car guesses pressure based on data from the wheel speed sensor. If you have different tread depths between tires (especially on the same axle) it'll mess with it

My car is weird. It didn't come with a spare; instead, it came with a tire repair kit and there's a portable air compressor under the drivers seat.

I've seen that too. I've made a mental note to demand a full size tire if I ever buy a new car again.

If it's a car it might be bouncing around the trunk because many aren't designed to fit a full size

What brand is that? That's new to me.

Kias do this now. Some come with a can of fix a flat attached to a compressor. I think the Cruze eco does too.

When given a choice, I buy the vehicle with the least amount of sensors and gadgets. They are all parts that break easily and I'm rough on everything.

I THINK a company that produced vehicles using EXPIRED patents would be FAR more economical. Case in point. The '80 Isuzu mark whatever. Diesal...53 MPG. RELIABLE. WHY did it disappear?

So many regulations on cars, so many mom/pop truck transport lost their business with the carb diesel rules. The diesel laws since 2008 are just insane, they do nothing to improve the environment, and if anything make it worse
