Don't click on porn spam above.

I asked for comments and discussion, not this crap.

Discuss a bridge between boomers and young people.

Fail trolls w no further intent on discussing anything “personal” driven. F - There should be a better way to post links in thread title and comments that could solve this.

Good thing, fame would have ruined him. Great guitarist.

Yeah, that song he did sucked.

If gammon isn’t fully cooked in an oven, how can you finish it off?

Gammon should be cooked in the oven at 400 for a few hours.

Agreed gammon must be fully cooked or it can do real damage to you.

I was 13 when They Only Come Out At Night was released. It was the first album I bought with my own money I saved from my allowances and helping my brother do his paper route.

The cover made me buy it, a 13 year old girl from Catholic school but something drew me in, it was different from all the teenybopper records i owned and it was on sale.

I took it home and listened to every song over and over until i knew every word (excluding Frankenstein of course). The song Autumn was my favorite song.

I loved music always, sang myself to sleep before i could talk. My older brother had a great album collection which is how i first heard of the Faces.

My Dad had a second job tending bar and the guy who changed the jukebox gave all the 45s to my Dad, who gave them to me.

I learned to love good music by listening to anything and everything without bias. That's how i learned to write my own songs, by studying songs that other people recorded.

That was one of the benefits of being a Boomer, so much good music.

Thanks again for the memories! # WWG1WGA 😎👍🇺🇸

If it wasn't for my older brother's record collection (which he would kill you if you got caught listening to them w/out permission) I would have missed out on most everything.

Thanks for the good comments.

I saw Johnny live, he opened for somebody but all I remember is him lol.

Same with my older brother. He was 5 years older and went to Scotland when he was 15, came back with some great music, I got my first Kinks 45 when I was 10.

Whenever he was at college I'd "borrow" his records, didn't matter who it was, i listened to everything! It didn't hurt that he had a radio show at his college and always bought me albums for birthdays and Christmas presents.

When i turned 18 the drinking age was 18 so I'd drive to NYC and see any band who was playing at Max's Kansas City or CBGBS, it was 1976, 1977 so I caught some amazing bands as the OG Punk scene started. I'd see crazy shows, like The Police playing to less than 30 people, or the Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, Iggy, those kind of bands and half the audience was bands going to see each other.

It's funny because the punks I still know are Conservative and Pro Trump. I just love music, if it's good the genre doesn't matter.

NYC was a mess but Rudy came along and cleaned it up making it much safer. I remember once waiting at a traffic light while Rudy crossed in front of my car with some security around him. One of my friends bought his Mom an apartment in Trump Towers, it was beautiful!

Saw Edgar couple times, what a talent! And a genius songwriter. With the great Mitch Perry on guitar!

I'd be surprised if anyone under 40 have every heard of these overrated albinos.
