Oh fuck. I've been sitting here laughing that people on Voat thought this was real, then on a whim did a fucking search and it absolutely fucking is. Goddamn it Texas.
This is the worst-written "real article that actually could be satire" I've ever seen. It could run in the Onion and fit right the fuck in.
But it's real. FFS.

One man told the station that if they 'dump pigs' blood and put pig heads on a post' then the Muslims 'won’t buy the land'.
I know it's wrong but my sides...
'Some thought it was a mosque going to be built, others thought it was a training ground,'

If one muslim can kill five Marines, then what can a thousand or so dead Muslims do in our community?
Dead Muslims can do exactly what dead Christians can do - nothing.

...then we’re going to have some dirty or diseased blood getting in our water.”
Dirty OR diseased. There's an important and telling subtlety there...

“We respect all people,” claimed Bobby Thigpen, a pastor at Antioch Baptist Church in Downtown Farmerville. “We just don’t respect it when Muslims come and try to change our culture."
Oh, Texas Christians. Adorable.
The interesting part is that this satire website is the only source for the quotes and names used. Most of their posts are obvious satire but in this one they started with a true title and fabricated all the other details. As an FYI Bobby Thingpen was a pro baseball player.

Yeah, they're not that bright. It's not as if the cemetery is being built over an existing christian cemetery and everyone who dies is going to have to be buried in that cemetery. The only reasonable argument is the burial methods used by Muslims and I'm not even sure its that bad of a problem.

This sort of thing is just embarrassing. What are they afraid of? A Zombie jihad?

I am not afraid of Muslims, but I am afraid of Zombie Muslims. And Zombie Christian, and Zombie Budhists, and Zombie Atheists. Come to think of it I am afraid of Zombies regardless of their spiritual views or lack of them.
Or at least I was afraid until I found my shotgun.

Something something dealing with all the religious zombies in this fashion...

24/7 news agency doesn't have enough stories so they give air time to local racists.

24/7 news cycle doesn't have enough stories so they give air time to every fucking idiot with anything to say, no matter what who or why.

It's SO hilarious when the "private property" people suddenly have objections too what OTHER people are doing on their own private property.
[–] Broc_Lia ago
How are these "private property" people? They sound alot more like statists to me.
[–] CaptOblivious ago
When those texans are defending thier right to do whatever they want with THEIR private property, and then turn around and complain about what someone else wants to do on property they own the texans hypocrisy becomes obvious and their previous protestations become the stuff of ridicule.
