Maybe some of you will appreciate this poem I wrote in wake of today's tragedy.

Love this ❤️
And so we must not mourn overlong.
This is no time for inaction or guilt!
We must again fight for "right" instead of for "wrong";
We must rebuild, and remember why we built!
Oh PS, what a day... what a poem written so beautifully... could put music to this...
Thank you so much for pinging me, I appreciate it greatly!

That's very good. The art, the beauty of centuries may be gone but the Truth remains. It was a symbol, but what it represented will go on and be strengthened. Thanks for writing and posting this. God bless.

How lovely. My favorite is:
We are not made free so that we may cry,
Nor for the sake of surrendering to fate.
We are free so that we may evil defy!
To fight for the Lord it is never too late!
I do so enjoy reading you, thank you.

Nicely done, Peaceseeker. Thanks for sharing.
Here's mine:
Exit
Do not go
like a cat into a bath
all scrappling claws
and desperate gyrations.
Toe the end of the board,
test its tensile willingness
to send you up and out,
then loose yourself
an arrow of longing
your dive a breathtaking arc.

Thanks :-) I stole the image. Words are mine, though.
Looks like Notre Dame was tougher than she looked! https://twitter.com/Sheindie/status/1117987371914604547
TIL 13,000 oak trees were used in building the roof, so a whole forest went up in flames.
